Everything Your Skin Actually Needs

Safe for your whole family.

There's Real Soap. Then There's Everything Else.

Most commercial bar soap isn't actually soap — it's a detergent bar. Check the label for sodium lauryl sulfate and you'll see what we mean. Real cold-process soap is made with oils. The label tells the whole story.

Real questions. Straight answers.

What makes Freedom Soap different from other natural bar soaps?

Freedom Soap bars are made using the cold-process method — real soap made with oils, not synthetic detergents. Most "natural" bar soaps still contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or synthetic fragrance. Ours don't. Every bar starts with six named oils and butters, scented with essential oils only, and contains no fillers, preservatives, or synthetic colorants. You can read every ingredient — because that's how it should work.

Is cold-process soap better for sensitive skin?

Cold-process soap retains the naturally occurring glycerin that forms during saponification — commercial manufacturers typically remove it. That glycerin is what makes soap feel nourishing rather than stripping. Combined with our oil-based formula (no SLS, no synthetic fragrance), our bars are gentle enough for sensitive skin and safe for daily family use.

Why does my regular soap make my skin feel dry after washing?

Most likely because it's a detergent bar, not real soap. Detergent bars are made with synthetic surfactants like SLS, which strip the skin's natural oils. Real oil-based soap cleans without stripping — that's the difference you'll notice when you make the switch.

Does the soap contain lye? Is it safe?

All real soap — cold-process or otherwise — requires lye (sodium hydroxide) to make. During the saponification process, the lye fully converts into soap. There is no lye remaining in the finished bar. It's safe for everyday use, including for children with sensitive skin.

How long does a bar last?

A well-made cold-process bar holds together and lasts significantly longer than most natural bars — typically 20+ showers even for heavy latherers. Because our formula is oil-forward, the bar stays firm and produces a rich lather all the way down to the last sliver. Nothing wasted.

Is Freedom Soap palm oil-free?

Yes — always. We don't use palm oil or palm oil derivatives in any of our bars. It's not something we add and remove based on supply — it's simply not part of our formula.

Are your products safe for children?

Yes. Our bars are formulated for the whole family — no SLS, no synthetic fragrance, no parabens or preservatives. They're gentle enough for sensitive skin and designed for daily use by adults and children alike.

You Know What's in Every Bar. That's the Whole Point.
